The church accepts the Scriptures as the revealed will of God and adopts these statements of Fundamental Truths and Doctrine as our Statement of Faith.
1. The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the revealed will of God (II Tim. 3:15; I Peter 1:23-25; Heb. 4:12).
2. There is one true Godhead comprised of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All are co-equal and co-eternal (Matt. 28:19; I John 5:7). Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh is the second member of the Godhead (Isa. 9:6; John 1:1; John 1:14).
3. Man was created in God’s image. By voluntary transgression, he fell and his only hope of redemption is Jesus Christ the Son of God (Gen. 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Rom. 5:12-21).
4. Salvation of Man:
a. Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross Jesus Christ became sin and sickness providing both salvation and healing for all mankind (Ps. 103:3). This salvation comes by believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and by confessing with your mouth Jesus as Lord (Rom. 3:24; 10:8-10; Eph. 2:8).
b. The inward evidence to the believer is the direct witness of the spirit (Rom. 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of true holiness and love (I John 3:23; John 13:35).
c. Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works; however, our works are evidence of our faith and will determine our rewards in eternity. (Acts 16:3; Rom. 10:9-10; Rom. 14:10-12; II Cor. 5:10; Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7; James 2:18).
5. Baptism in water is an outward sign of good conscience toward God and man that you do believe in the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh (Matt. 28:19; I Peter 3:21).
6. The celebration of the Lord’s Supper by eating of the bread and drinking of the cup is a remembrance of Jesus (I Cor. 11:24-30).
7. All believers are entitled to, and should earnestly seek, the promise of the Father, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to the command of Jesus Christ. With this comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth (Luke 24:49; Mark 16:17-18; Acts 1:4-8, 2:38-39, 10:44-46, 11:14-16, 15:7-9; I Cor. 12:1-31).
8. The evidence of the filling of the Holy Spirit: The initial consummation of the filling of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and by the subsequent manifestation or spiritual power in public testimony and service (Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:2-6; Acts 1:8). We believe the other gifts of the Holy Spirit should be sought also (I Cor. 12:7-10).
9. The church is the body of Christ. Each believer is an integral part (Eph. 1:22, 2:19-22; Heb. 12:23).
10. Total Prosperity: a. Spiritual (John 3:3; II Cor. 5:17-21; Rom. 10:9-10) b. Mental (II Tim 1:7; Rom. 12:2; Isa. 26:3) c. Physical (Isa. 53:4-5; Matt. 8:17; I Peter 2:24) d. Financial (III John 1:2; Mal. 3:10-11; Luke 6:38; II Cor. 9:6-10 Deut. 28:104) e. Social (Prov. 3:4)
11. The rapture of the Church, the blessed hope, is to take place before tribulation where Jesus will meet us in the air. (Luke 21:34-36; John 14; 1-3; I Cor. 15:51-52; Eph. 5:27; Phil. 3:11, 20-21; I Thess. 2:1, 7-8; I Peter 5:4; I John 2:28; 3:2, Rev. 1:19).
12. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ bodily to the earth with the resurrected saints at least seven years after the Rapture of the Church. (Jer. 23: 5-6; Dan. 2:44-45, 7:13-14; Zech. 14:1-21; Matt. 16:27, 24:1-25, 46; Luke 17:23-37, 21:1-33; Acts 3:21; II Peter 1:16, 3:3-9; II Thess. 1:7-10, 2:1-8; Heb. 9:28; Rev. 1:7, 19:11-21).
13. The Millennial Reign of Jesus: The return of our Lord, Jesus Christ with His saints from Heaven to rule and reign for one thousand years on earth as the Scriptures promise (Rom. 11:25, 27; II Thess. 1:7; Rev. 19:11-16, 20:1-7). After this, there will be a new Heaven and a new earth (Rev. 21).
14. Those who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus Christ will suffer eternal separation from the Godhead. They will burn in the lake of fire (Rev. 19:20, 20:10-15).
15. This ministry believes in conditional eternal security, that a person can fall from grace; man is a free moral agent. (Ex. 32:33; Deut. 9:7-29, 11:13-25; Lev. 18:24-30, 26:13-39; Deut. 8:19-20; Gal. 1:6-7, 5:1, 5:19-21, 5:4; Heb. 2:1-3; I Cor. 3:16-18; II Peter 2:15; Heb. 6:1-6; James 5:19-20; Rev. 3:5-6, 2:5).
